Phillip Doc Martin
SAXOPHONIST AND DENTIST
Phillip “Doc” Martin really is a doctor -- a dentist with a private practice – but has equally impressive musical creds. Growing up in South Florida, he started playing the saxophone at the age of 9. He continued to play all the way through high school where he became first chair in the All-State Jazz Band.
Doc Martin received a scholarship to study music at the University of Central Florida under the leadership of Jeff Rupert and George Weremchuk and was quickly hired as a sideman by Sam Rivers and Sisaundra Lewis (2nd runner up finalist on The Voice Season 6).

Art Sherrod Jr is “…a man who loves music, a man who loves art, respects the spirit world and thinks with his heart.” 1 He is equal parts heart and soul and it seems as if God gave him an extra dose of expression through music. The creative part of Art was shaped by rich experiences, the people with the greatest influence in his formative years and exposure of culture, religion, and the arts. These people, places and things have fostered an innate curiosity, and have nurtured and strong desire for expression.
